About Jason O'Glee
(Owner/Operator of Louisiana CheerNastics/ Head Coach of The La. Rebel All-stars):

Upon graduation from Northwood High School in 1994 Jason started his college career as well as his cheerleading career at Bossier Parish Community College. In his first year of cheerleading he had the opportunity to compete at NCA College Nationals in Dallas, Texas for his first time. In 1996 he started working for Shreveport, Olympiad as a cheer tumbling instructor. He then in 1997 became the Assistant Director and Cheer Director at Bossier Olympiad. He is very thankful to Bob and Willa Moss and Vern McCann for there encouragement and direction in the sport. While at Bossier Olympiad Jason started his first All-star cheer team and it was called the “Rebel Bomb Squad”. Many of its members were able to move on to the college level of cheerleading and some are still involved in the sport today. Jason competed this team at NCA All-star Nationals in Dallas, Texas.

Jason, in 1998 tried out for the "Four Time Div. II National Championship Team" at Delta State University. Upon making the team he had the opportunity to compete and win at the UCA College Nationals in Orlando, Florida in1999 and 2000 (Shown on ESPN)! Jason and Melissa Ferguson, his stunt partner while at DSU, were able to compete in the "UCA College National Partner Stunt Competition" where they placed seventh in the nation out of sixty participants from all over the nation (Shown on ESPN). Also while at Delta State, Jason was able to finish his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science with a split minor in Psychology and Business Administration.

During Jason's time at Delta State he also worked for Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) as a summer camp instructor and summer camp head instructor. Jason had the opportunity to teach and head instruct middle school and high school age camps throughout Louisiana and college camps throughout the nation. In 2000 Jason was selected by UCA to perform at the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Tel-a-thon in Los Angeles, California. He worked for UCA for three consecutive summers and is thankful to UCA for there great training, foundation, and experience that they gave him.

In September of 2002 Jason and his wife Amber embarked on dream to start another all-star team. They started "The La. Rebel All-stars" with a team of 17 members and have watched it grow over the past few years to more than 100 Rebel All-stars due to Gods blessings. Also, in 2002 Jason and Amber embarked on Louisiana CheerNastics to be a full service cheerleading training facility. They have watched each of there programs grow over time and that too they are thankful to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jason is a true believer in Philippians 4:13 ("I (You/We) can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me.") and tries to apply this verse and principle to his life on a daily basis. He finds strength in knowing that God’s strength in his life gives him confidence to pursue and achieve goals. He is also thankful to so many great supporters and encouragers along the way through his and his wife’s business adventures. Jason is now working on his Masters Degree in Counseling at Louisiana Baptist University here in Shreveport. He plans to finish this degree in the spring of 2007.
